Writers of color have long been at a disadvantage when it comes to the publishing world. Their stories have been ignored or told by others, and often inaccurately. Mixed Latinx author Alex Temblador wants to see this change. In this free Zoom seminar, attendees will learn about the current state of diversity in the publishing world and how to navigate the confusing publishing process to get their stories and books in the hands of readers. Alex Temblador will teach writers of color how to find literary agents and publishers that are receptive and willing to fight for authors of color, as well as things they might expect on their publishing journey.
