I lived in Los Angeles for one year (okay, shy of one year by a month!). In that year, I did so many fun and amazing things. For those who are looking for things to do in Los Angeles or want to know what fun and exciting events and opportunities one can do and see when visiting LA, just check out what I did below.

  • Saw the Hollywood sign
  • Walked on the Hollywood stars and saw the famous TCL Chinese Theatre
  • Saw the city from high above from Griffith

  • Saw an actor/actress or two or three or four! Or, okay, a lot.
  • Saw 2 concerts. (Katy Perry and Ptibull/Enrique)

  • Went to the Getty Museum.
  • Went to a Clipper’s, King’s, and Dodger’s game (and as far as I’m concerned they are the only important LA teams lol)

  • Had a couple of out of town trips like Big Bear and San Diego.

  • Auditioned for the Travel Channel.
  • Partied in Los Angeles.
  • Went to so many of the beaches: Santa Monica, Malibu, Long Beach, Manhattan, Newport, Venice, Hermosa, Redondo, etc.

  • Saw LACMA at night.
  • Went to a drive-in movie.
  • Had brunch almost every Sunday with friends at so many awesome, delicious places around the city.
  • Ice skated next to the Staples Center.

  • Went to Disneyland!

  • Totally fell into the hiking culture of LA. (No pun intended)
  • Went to a fashion show. #MarcoMarco

  • Trained in karate with famous Soke Takayuki Kubota.
  • Celebrated Halloween in West LA!
  • Had many a food truck lunch.
  • Saw DTLA’s street art.

  • Danced on roof tops in DTLA.
  • Had the famous In-N-Out Burger… (not impressed)
  • Hung out in Chinatown.

  • Went to a comedy show or two!
  • Explored Griffith Observatory.
  • Checked out Beverly Hills and Rodeo drive.
  • Became an honorary Angeleno (Okay, that only happened in my mind)
